usedbooksfinder was established two years ago in response to increasing customer demand for hard to find used books. The service is based in the UK and now forms an important part of Godfrey Whitmore Books.

usedbooksfinder will search for any used book but is particularly successful at finding out of print books. In addition to searching the Internet searches are also made of booksellers who do not use the web. Although we have only been established for a relatively short period of time we have a flourishing business in Europe, America and in the UK.

Our clientele comes from a broad section of the community but includes the general public, students, libraries, and increasingly book dealers. We are always willing to help whenever we again, and endeavour to keep our clients informed at every stage.  Client feedback is important to us and we welcome comments of any kind.

Many of our customers are 'repeat' customers or have come to us by personal recommendation. Clients often comment by how surprised they are that we have been able to find their book, and by our attention to detail. Price and efficiency are undoubtedly the two most important considerations valued by our clients. This is not surprising as we price competitively and are constantly searching for the books requested.
